I've not been on my blog for awhile. Now that I use facebook this seems to be less important. I used to have to write here for everyone to see and hear what's going on. Now I am able to keep up with everyone daily through FB.
Since being on here last, we have successfully moved into Winston-Salem and purchased a home. We are very excited about it.
Chris is working for Catalyst Church full time but is not paid. We have to raise our own support. This has been tough. When raising support, such as missionaries, you question why people do not give.
We first question ourselves, is it something we said or did? Is it something we DIDN'T say or do? That kind of stuff.
Then we tend to question God. Lord, is this the right move? Now, that one we can answer with bold confidence "YES!!" We are VERY certain that we made the right move to NC and that helping with Catalyst is the right thing to do.
We have had our eyes and ears opened to many things that we would not have seen or heard had we not been right in the middle of it with both hands and feet!
We also can tend to question our faith, asking God if we have enough. Each day he comes through for us, each day he blesses us. Which has taught us to truly live out the passage "give us THIS day our daily bread." Through all of this, God is continually increasing our faith in him and not in this world. Glory to God, becuase HE deserves ALL the praise!
